MOC and municipalities of Skopje are organizing the Olympic Games 2012 for Kids

For the occasion of the 20th anniversary celebration of the Macedonian Olympic Committee, Coordination Committee composed of the representatives of municipalities of Karpos, Kisela Voda, Gyortché Petrov and Tchaïr and the Director of the MOC, Vladimir Bogoevski had a meeting at Kisela Voda. The Mayor Marjan Gjorcev was assisting at the meeting.

During the meeting they have discussed the method and system of competitions between primary schools which will be held in every municipality. Also they spoke about the organization of the final matches which will be allocated to each municipality as following:

Kisela Voda - volleyball (women), chess and table tennis
Gyortché Petrov - handball (women)
Tchaïr – indoor soccer.
Karpos - basketball (men's).

During the semi-finals and finals meetings the selections will be made from all municipalities in all sports and they will play a friendly match on the 20th March 2012 for the birthday of the MOC. The final event will take place in the sports hall Borist Trajkovski. The President of the IOC, Dr Jacques Rogge, the President of the EOC, Patrick Hickey, the Presidents of some European NOC and also some public Macedonian figures will attend this event.
