How many Belgians will travel to London?
Suseia, the exclusive distributor for Belgium, and the BOIC were able to convince the London Organising Committee to obtain an initial package of 30.000 tickets for Belgian supporters. That is three times more than with the Olympic Games of 2008 in Beijing, and an additional 4.500 were added in September. Those tickets found their way to 13.500 supporters and members of the Olympic families in Belgium.

Over 90% of the tickets have been sold. Suseia offers both individual tickets and all-in formulas (ticket with transport and/or stay on site for stays that are longer than 1 day). More tickets may still be allotted for Belgians in the months that follow, depending on the results of Belgian sportsmen before the Olympics.

Sports where there are still tickets available are: volleyball, beach-volleyball, handball, sailing, weightlifting, boxing...
Sports where there are still all-in formulas available are: tennis, judo, swimming, gymnastics, boxing, fencing...
There are also a number of disciplines that can be attended for free, such as cycling and the triathlon which take place on the road.
How can we obtain tickets for London 2012?
The tickets are sold either in an all-in formula (ticket with transport and/or stay on site for stays that are longer than 1 day) or for individual tickets. To buy tickets or all-in formulas, Belgian supporters have to go online at www.suseia.be, the online selling site for London 2012. For individual tickets, a buyer can order tickets for a maximum of 4 people. For the all-in formula, the limit is set at 8 people. The buyer gets a pro-forma bill within 24 hours and has to pay for it within 15 days. The Organisation Committee will only release the "physical" tickets at the end of June 2012. Jean-Sébastien Gosuin, Suseia’s company manager, is cheerful about the Belgian interest: “The good services from of a number of Belgian athletes, such as from the men's hockey team, have inflamed the Olympic fire even more for its supporters. And London, with its venue nearby and with its excellent transport facilities, is a unique opportunity to witness the largest sport event live. We also see that companies have a lot of interest to go to the Olympics with their customers or partners. Finally, the extraordinary accommodations are also an important asset. For tennis spectators, they will enjoy the combination of the Olympics with a visit to the legendary tennis courts in Wimbledon.”
